Is There Really a Best Springtime Bait Color?

Is there a "best" lure color for springtime bass fishing?

Many people seem to think so and it seems it's the same color type Ike discusses in the following video...

I know lots of folks gravitate to that color in the spring but for me it all comes down to water clarity plus the dominant forage base in the waters I fish but if it has green in it, it's probably good 🤣

That's not to say I might try a red trailer on a green pumpkin chatterbait from time to time however...
