Tuning a Crankbait

Crankbaits can be awesome bass catching machines or at least they are until they are thrown out of tune…



Most crankbaits (Scatter Raps excluded) are designed to run along a straight path during the retrieve but will start running to the right or left if the line tie eyelet gets bent…

Here is a short video featuring Walker from W2F describing how to adjust the eyelet when your favorite crankbait starts running off-kilter!

For the most part there is one main thing driving the actions of bass through the fall; feeding in preparation for a long, lethargic cold water conditions that lie ahead!
