Fishing Frogs for Spring Bass

Springtime is prime bassin’ time!

Combining winter-thinned, hungry bass with the internal drive to prepare to reproduce means plenty of fish are ready to strike all kinds of bait!

Once the water warms to the mid to upper 50s, bass are also eager to inhale lures presented on the surface over favorite ambush points…

So not only is springtime primo bass time’; it’s topwater time!

And nothing is more exciting than seeing a big ole bucket-mouth crush a hollow-body frog on top :)

Even though the presenter discusses a specific brand for the frogs he was using, the tips apply to similar models produced by other companies as well!

Difference Between Structure and Cover

Even the pros screw these terms up from time to time…

Definitely two of the misused terms in all of fishing and in most cases the difference between structure and cover is pretty straight-forward!

Keeping Fish Alive When Live-Well Fails

It was great to hear a live testimonial at the  2014 FLW Lake Okeechobee Event (2/7-10) for the New Pro Products, V-T2 Live-well Ventilation system…
